Garrett Hella Style Electronic Wastegate Actuator Worm Gear and Motor (C)



  • Description - PLEASE ENSURE YOU MATCH FROM YOUR PART NUMBER (DO NOT USE FRAME SIZE I.E. GTB22, K03, RHF5, TD04)

    The Hella style electronic wastegate actuator fitted to many of the latest Garrett Turbochargers become damaged due to a sticking VNT nozzle ring assembly.

    Typically the plastic worm gear can break due to the load from the motor trying to turn the gear but failing to do so due to carbon build up jamming the Turbos VNT nozzle ring. This can also result in the motor burning out.

    Normally this would result in the complete Turbocharger being scrap as new electronic actuators or parts to repair were not available... until now!

    The specification of the worm gear and motor is below, please ensure this matches the gear and motor in your actuator and that it is these parts that are faulty

     

    SHAFT GEARS  = 5

    MOTOR GEAR OD = 6.6mm
