All of our turbocharger actuators are BRAND NEW and made specific to match your turbocharger.

Hella style actuators typically come in 2 types.

Type 1 - Plug and Play – Simple Rotational Electronic Actuator (SREA)

• Simple Universal Turbo Actuator (S-UTA)

Both SREA and S-UTA style electronic turbocharger actuator are plug and play, simply unplug the power connector, remove the circlip from the actuator linkage and the 3 mounting bolts, replace with the new unit and problem solved*.

*assumes internal nozzle ring mechanisms are free of damage, distortion and rust/carbon build up.

Type 2 – Programmable

• Rotational Electronic Actuator (REA)
• Universal Turbo Actuator (UTA)

This actuator is designed to be programmed once installed to ensure exact flow requirements are met to achieve maximum efficiency. 

Our replacement REA/UTA actuator are supplied with a base program installed specific to the actuator part number and in many cases work on fitment, however sadly this is not always the case and programming is required via dedicated specialist turbocharger actuator programmers. To assist DIY repair, Turbo Rebuild Limited offer the following solutions for REA and UTA replacement.

"Fit and Flow” – Our “Fit and Flow” service involves removing your Turbocharger from the vehicle and sending to ourselves**. Upon receipt, our technicians will remove the original actuator, install the new actuator and will professionally set up and calibrate on our state of the art flow bench before return. This will not only ensure plug and play capability, but also ensure maximum efficiency is met. Your original actuator will be returned as well as your turbo with the new replacement actuator installed.

Cost: £110 plus VAT - Simply add this listing to your basket alongside the actuator you wish to purchase, checkout and then send your original actuator to us. Once received, we will program the new actuator and return both back to you.

*this must be done at your own cost and by a garage of your choice

NOTE:  All actuator services offered by Turbo Rebuild Limited are supplied to a turbocharger in perfect working order without underlying issues. Should the turbocharger not operate as required due to underlying turbocharger issues (e.g.: Damaged turbocharger internals, sticking or seized internals etc.) then any further remedial works will be chargeable of which a quotation will be offered before any works are undertaken.
